This is a beautiful Mid Century dining set comprising of a G-PLAN rectangular table with drop leaf feature, and 4 stylish chairs with a black faux leather upholstery. (We are unsure of the chairs are the original G-PLAN set, but they are definitely of the mid century era )
G-Plan were a power house of quality for this design period and this set is no exception. A stylish shape with a modern feel to it despite its age. The teak wood is stained to a rich brown tone which offsets the black leather beautifully.
This would be a beautiful quality feature piece for your dining space or kitchen.
The table can be folded down with 2 drop leaf sections at either end using a simple slide of each outer leg. This would make a great table where you need to save space and easily keep it stored when not in use.
Minor age related wear to the table and chairs but please look at all images to see details. There is one slightly deeper blemish to the table which is shown in the photographs. Also pictured some minor blemishes to the chairs.
The chairs have been recovered with a faux black leather. We have checked and the original mid century upholstery remains underneath. These could very easily be restored to their original look by removing the faux leather covers.
